A local ginger cat named Marmaduke has been given the title of Europe’s Finest Cat for 2021. The loveable rogue won by unanimous vote from over 21,000 entrants.
Head judge Bill McWebberstein told journalists that Marmaduke stood out from the competition for his lovely demeanour and wonderful eyes. “They’re so dreamy, you just can’t help but fall in love with him, the little rascal” said McWebberstein.
Other entrants in this year’s contest also included Millie ‘Dorito’ Cat and Terrence ‘2nd best’ cat.
