Green Bay to forfeit game

AP News. The Green Bay Packers were set to host a divisional round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams this Saturday, until earlier today. Just before post practice interviews, it was announced the game would be canceled and would not be made up, thus putting the remainder of the playoffs in jeopardy.
With such an abrupt announcement from GM Ted Thompson, people were left speculating. Many thought a majority of the team had tested positive for covid-19. As Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports, the real reason Green Bay has forfeited the upcoming match up, is that starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers, is going to live out one of his childhood dreams, host the long running game show, Jeopardy!
Rodgers said during his weekly press conference, ” I have always loved watching Jeopardy!, and although I was able to be a celebrity guest host, I want to do more than one game. What else do I have to accomplish in the NFL, another childhood dream of mine? I have already won the super bowl, mvp and pro bowl honors. One dream is fulfilled, time to chase my other dreams.” Rodgers had no other comments, and did not take questions from the media.
The question remains, is Rodgers planning to hang up his cleats now? Or is he just taking a break from football? Something so unexpected as this has us all wondering, what is next for Aaron Rodgers, and the Green Bay Packers.
