“I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke!” This Morning on Thursday, November 7th, president Donald Trump announced Diet Coke day to be a national holiday. “Diet Coke is the drink of America! And if it is America, we as Americans have to recognize it!” The bill has been sent off to the House of Representatives and is now awaiting approval from a majority vote. “President Trump is an interesting president” says House Leader, Nancy Pelosi. “we are well aware of his mental state and we hope for his well being.” Meanwhile in the Senate, many senators agree with president trump. We spoke with President Pro Tempore, Mitch McConnell. “Well, I do not completely agree with the president on this decision, but we have been talking with companies and we have found that Coca-Cola inc. will pay upward of fifty-million dollars if this bill passes.” We also talked to Sean Hannity. ” I would definitely like a few million right now! I am looking to refurbish a beach house on the coast of Nova Scotia facing into the Bay of Fundy. They have some nice golf courses there.” The bill we be voted on next week on Wednesday, the 13th.
