After 7 years in operation, USEmergAlerts owner Thomas Perez, sold his company to Long Time Rival and Competitor, Incident Page Network. The official merger of the two companies will take place on August 1st of 2017. It is noted that Incident Page Network purchased USEmergAlerts for 1.7 million dollars a near tripple of the actual value of the company. In an interview with Michael heater and Chuck Lowe of incident page network, Chuck Low stated “they had gotten too big, too quickly, and in doing so, had brought our ratings down tremendously. For a all volunteer and free incident notification service to do that to a paid incident notification service, we’ll it’s kind of a smack in the face, so we had to do, what we had to do in order to acquire “USEmergAlerts.”
