Burlington County-23 year old Shahid Bowens from plainfield new jersey was stopped in a check point in the burlington Nj township to find out he had no license and the vehicle he was in didnt have any insurance when we pulled him over in the mean time smelled a strong odor in the car asked him to step out but he refused so then the cop knew something was wrong.The officer called for backup 30 minutes later the k9 unit was at the crime of scene.23 year old Shahid then decided to have the officials search his car found a 40 glock with hallow tips under the driver seat and in his trunk was a big black garbage bag in it was 1 pound of marijuana. Shahid Bowens was then taking in for custody.Hes looking a numerous charges. Possession of marijuana 2nd degree which can lead up to 4yrs of prision with a chance of parole and possession of a firearm without a permit with hallow tips can lead up to 10 years and depending on how many bullets were in the weapon he could be looking at 25 years without a chance of parole.Right now his bail is at 500,000
