A 77th grade Life Science teacher was shot on Sunday May 21. She was visiting the school she worked at (Plantation Middle School) when an armed gunman demanded her to hand him her purse. She refused according to a witness, and was shot in the arm. He demanded her to do so again, and she surrendered her belongings. She is in recovery at Plantation General Hospital and is in Critical Condidtions.
