40 y/o William Lopez (Billy) was driving south bound on the belt parkway. When a truck traveling 52mph on the highway sideswiped his jeep causing him to loose control crashing to a guardrail then flipping over. Amazingly he gets out alive with minor injuries, and is now a Northwell Hospital in stable condition. The truck driver was arrested by police for obstructing his driveing eating a sandwich. According to the police report the driver states he loves subway steak sub so much, he wasn’t paying attention to the road. The trucking company fired the driver and gave William a brand new 2017 jeep Cherokee. He’s exciteded to recover with no permanent damage.
