Earlier today the mars rover “Perseverance” made what is perhaps the most remarkable discovery of the century. At 10:32 this morning “Perseverance” sent back an analysis of Martian soil that seemed to be inhabited with a thriving colony of bacteria. James Bridenstein; admistrator of NASA, addressed this phenomenon. “At first we dismissed it as being some kind of earthen bacteria that somehow survived the trip through space. But as per protocol we sent the images to a team of microbiologists. I was floored when the report came back that this organism was completely new to science, with a structure that was entirely different then any earthen bacteria on record. I belive its safe to say that this is our first contact with extraterrestrial life.”
No further comments or images from NASA have come forward. But Channel 34 will be following this story of a generation as soon as more information appears.
